چکیده

We have studied thin film instabilities and in particular buckling driver delami-nation of thin films on rigid substrates. In the first part we studied residual stressin molybdenum thin films deposited by magnetron sputtering. With these resultswe can deposit a film with high compressive stresses for delamination. In the secondpart, compressive stressed layers are used to induce buckling driven delamination ofa stack with a weak interface. Propagation as well as morphology of delaminationare studied. Parameters playing a role in the buckling morphology are identifiedand enable drawing of a phase diagram. The last part of the work is dedicated tothe development of a numerical model coupling buckling of thin plate and cohesivezone in order to model buckling driven delamination. This model has been solvedby finite elements method. Results are sound with experiments.tel-00868409,version1-1Oct2013

Interface models coupling adhesion and friction

Interface models coupling friction and adhesion, where adhesion is regarded as interface damage, are briefly reviewed. The most widely used cohesive zone models are presented and discussed. A general framework for these laws, recently developed by Del Piero and Raous in the form of a unified model, is outlined. As an example, it is here established that the RCCM (Raous-Cangémi-Cocou-Monerie) mo...

MESH ADAPTION FOR COMPRESSIBLE FLOWSBernadette

We describe here some recent developments in mesh adaption for compressible viscous inviscid ow simulation. One of the most challenging task is to capture eeciently thin layers such as boundary layers, mixing layers. Two important issues, the coupling between mesh and ow, and the use of at elements for stretching are considered in the case of deformation mesh systems. RESUME : On pr esente une ...
